These Terms of Service govern your use of the website at https://telnergy.uk and the services provided by Telnergy Limited (Company No. 04576876, registered in England and Wales), an independent commercial energy consultancy. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using this website or our services.

1. About Telnergy

Telnergy acts as an intermediary between business customers and energy suppliers, providing energy procurement, mediation, and management services to UK businesses.

2. Our services

Our services include market comparison, contract negotiation, switch management, billing dispute handling, and ongoing energy portfolio management.

3. How we are paid

Our fee is agreed with you upfront and disclosed before you sign any contract. It is typically 1–2p per kWh and can be paid directly, or via the supplier as commission built into the tariff rate you are quoted.

4. Your responsibilities

To enable us to provide our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your energy usage and current contracts
  • Notify us of any changes to your business circumstances that may affect our advice
  • Not enter into energy contracts directly with suppliers we have introduced to you without our knowledge, during any active engagement

5. Our obligations

Telnergy will:

  • Act in your best interests when making procurement recommendations
  • Disclose our commission structure before any contract is signed
  • Handle your personal and business data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR
  • Maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance

6. Website use

By using this website, you warrant on behalf of yourself, your users, and any other parties you represent that you will not:

  • modify, copy, prepare derivative works of, decompile, or reverse engineer any materials or software on this website;
  • remove any copyright or other proprietary notation from materials on this website;
  • transfer materials to another person or “mirror” them on any other server;
  • knowingly or negligently use this website or its associated services in a way that abuses or disrupts our networks or any other service Telnergy provides;

Telnergy provides advice and information in good faith, based on market data available at the time. We are not liable for changes in energy market prices after a recommendation is made, or for actions taken by energy suppliers over which we have no control.

Our total liability to you in connection with our services shall not exceed the commission received in respect of your contracts in the 12 months preceding any claim.

This website and its materials are provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Telnergy makes no warranties, express or implied, and disclaims all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

In no event shall Telnergy or its suppliers be liable for any consequential loss suffered or incurred by you or any third party arising from use of, or inability to use, this website or its materials, even where Telnergy has been notified of the possibility of such loss. “Consequential loss” includes any indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, goodwill, opportunity, savings, reputation, use, or data, whether arising under statute, contract, equity, tort (including negligence), indemnity, or otherwise.

Where a jurisdiction does not permit these limitations, they may not apply to you.
